Jessica, the gown is an Amsale gown from maybe the 2007 or 08 collection. I'm not sure where you would be able to find older seasons at this point. Amsale does make a "white wedding gown" that has optional sashes, that might be an option. Your best bet would be to call a local bridal salon and ask what Amsale gowns are currently available, take the picture in and see if they have access to it, or can order it, or has something similar. On the Amsale site, you can search of local shops, as well as any trunk shows that are coming up. Trunk show=huge discount. :) I wish you luck, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

We only had 70 guests and did not add any extra pages (I think the default was 15 when we did it??). We had plenty of room left over. Some people will just sign their names, some will write little comments and some will draw on your pictures. It just adds to the fun of it all. You know your guests best. If they are wordy... maybe add a few pages. If there are a ton of pictures you like add them to the book now. You'll never be able to edit the book later so it's nice to have all the pictures you love in one place. You'll look at this book for years to come so get them in there if you want.

And definitely go with the white for the background. Other little tips: We put our wedding date on the spine of the book and our favorite picture on the front. On the first internal page we put a quote that we liked and no pictures. The rest was all pictures. We had maybe 2-3 pages with no white space and full page pictures instead.
this is the book we did. It's the Everyday Standard with personalized cover: <a href="http://www.photoworks.com/shop/detail.jsp;jsessionid=47886D217FF4CD9F04543B403BDA5FB2?selProduct=books-3150&parentCategory=books+events+love&sbo=false&cb=PW&guest=true&toh=&svr=web28" rel="nofollow">Photoworks</a>

Also, how many pages did you have? We are having about 300 guests- do you think 20 pages is enough?

Thanks for the fast reply! I think I am going to give it a try! You chose a memory book from the photoworks site? What one on there looks similar to what you did...if you don't mind me asking! And did you just use white backgrounds for the pages?

Michael's sells archival photo pens, that is what we used. It prevented smearing when people would be writing, and also is intended to last longer because of the type of ink.

As far as the pages. We did photos only, no captions and used various layouts (provided by the site you choose). Make sure to leave plenty of white space for signatures and notes.

Did you just create a memory book without captions, and in place of captions your guests signed the pages? Is that correct? No ink speared or anything?
